Over 19 years banking experience and has specialised for 15 years in developing and implementing simple and complex funding models for regulated independent healthcare businesses, pharmacy and primary care businesses including development finance. A highly motivated individual with excellent relationship skills and a high number of healthcare, property and professional contacts all specifically related to the Independent and Public healthcare sector. Also has good experience of funding businesses within the hotel sector and licensed premises trade
A fully qualified Chartered Accountant with substantial experience in the property development, investment and construction sectors. This experience has been gained over many years, initially working for a Public Company operating in the UK and overseas before moving on to run his own business. More recently he has established specific experience in the care sector and this, combined with his extensive financial and commercial background, provides the Group with a wide reaching property development and healthcare resource.
An experienced Finance Professional with over 20 years of experience gained in the health care and hospitality sectors, holding senior Finance and Procurement positions with several major UK and overseas hotel groups. His wealth of knowledge is ideally suited to the successful achievement that Careport enjoys in turning around businesses for Operators and Banks. Andrew is a highly motivated professional with excellent personal skills and a large number of contacts within the health and social care sector as well as the hospitality industry.
Ralph is the Group’s Commercial Director working across the Group joining teams together, heading special projects and ensuring continuing testing and development of internal systems. Ralph’s career has spanned large international corporates, public sector and charity organisations. Ralph’s extensive change management experience is key in assisting the business in our care home portfolios.
A highly motivated and successful individual within the care sector with many years of nursing experience starting within the NHS and then public and private social care sector. Sheila has been instrumental in controlling quality in the core portfolio and now heads up as Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Portfolio where she is vastly improving inherited standards and working hard with the dedicated teams in achieving our strict financial targets for this portfolio. Quality of care is at the core of everything Sheila strives for.
Miriam is the groups Human Resources Director and responsible for creating a high performing, dynamic workforce and driving forward a forward-thinking people strategy. Miriam has over 10 years’ experience in HR and general management roles in the private and public sector and for the last 7 years has been part of the NHS. Miriam’s previous roles include responsibility for managing an effective HR service for over 20 NHS organisations and working strategically directly for the NHS Chief Executive and National Director: HR for several years. Miriam is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Sheffield and a Masters in Human Resource Management.
Matthew has over 23 year’s experience in the healthcare sector, having worked at all levels in both charity and private sectors. Matthew joined Careport as Regional manager in 2011. In his role as the operations manager Matthew works closely with the senior directors and the regional managers to improve and maintain the highest delivery of care in all the homes in the core portfolio and to ensure they are fully compliant with all regulatory requirements and to develop and assist with business plans.
